Meet Your Hosts

Meet Marshall, the craftsman behind the Currahee Manor. But more than just a renovation project, the Currahee Manor was also Marshall’s family home. Growing up on the property, Marshall recreates the nostalgic magic of the manor, emphasizing the beauty and intrigue of a “simpler time.” Remanence with us as you rest, relax, rejuvenate, and enjoy how life was.

Marshall’s passion for historic homes, preservation, and quality craftsmanship truly come to life in this meaningful property. From tearing down walls to redesigning rooms, adding bathrooms and more, Marshall explored other historic homes and incorporated details from his deep research.

“I would love for you to experience the feeling of a simpler time. Enjoy the home that my family once lived in. Before new walls and modern conveniences came about, during a time without power, running water, phones, and automobiles, this home was built to last.”

As you walk through the home, you’ll discover bits and pieces of history, preserved and frozen in time. Step into our antique room where you’ll find more than relics, but memories. Look closely throughout the home and you’ll see historic doors used as barn doors, a historic trunk as a medicine cabinet, and so much more.

Marshall’s passion & talent for custom built furniture adds to the timeless memories, as he tastefully repurposes historic items to breathe fresh new life into the Currahee Manor.

Welcome in. We hope you’ll stay a while.
